Yet another remarkable aspect of "Sairat" is its music. Ajay-Atul have perfectly captured the rustic feel, be it the songs, or the over-all music-scape of the film which includes, the pathetic wail of the baby boy or the  distant but heart like thud, as effective as his innocent footprints, bloodied by the revengeful murder which finished off his  young parents. 

The Ajay-Atul duo wrote the lyrics, too, with inputs by Manjule for the title song. Given their basic non-urban background, the "Sairat" lyrics have that direct, rough and primal feel, which the racy music heightens. 

Remarkable is the fact that the Hindi version of the songs in the film " Dhadak", despite being written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and put to music by the sibling duo, could not recreate the magic of either the Marathi songs or the movie itself.  Well, original cannot be replicated even by those who first made the reel real.
