The Day of Reckoning

Absolutely convinced I am that you would have easily found the answers to the queries our 'Nuggets@ Know thy Humanities' series would as usual pose from Monday through Thursday. As per our convention, here are the answers

1)The Monday query: The first ever bio-geographist, who hugely  influenced Darwin and in a way initiated ecology and environmental awareness, is Alexander von Humboldt. His linguist brother, Wilhelm von Humboldt, founded the Humboldt University in Berlin.

2) The Tuesday query: The Buddhist saint is Angulimala.

3) The Wednesday Query: Was not it as easy as it was juicy? Yes, it is Jeffrey Archer.

4) The Thursday Query: This most controversial name when it came to Nobel for Literature is Bob Dylan.

Hope you found the queries to be both, enjoyable and yet informative even though  on a small scale. Do look up the queries each week, Monday through Thursday. There is no knowing how they they could help! Knowledge never goes waste even in an era of information explosion!
